Role Overview

The Avionics Senior Global Trade Relationship Manager (GTRM) is responsible for providing strategic Global Trade guidance, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing global trade projects within the aerospace industry. This role involves working closely with senior leaders, supporting trade policies, licensing, and training, and ensuring compliant transfers of goods and technical data.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze business needs and develop compliant global trade solutions.
2. Serve as the liaison for global trade to business segments and leaders.
3. Support strategic initiatives and ensure compliance with U.S. and international trade regulations.
4. Support licensing, authorizations, and regulatory investigations.
5. Develop and deliver global trade training and communications.
6. Support international and domestic travel (10%).

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 7 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GT regulations including EAR and ITAR.
• International and domestic travel required (10%).

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of US Customs regulations.
• Project or program management experience.
• Aerospace technical background.
• Experience with EMEA regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in a global, matrixed organization.
