Senior Manager, Global Stock, US 401K and US Deferred Compensation Administration

Join Autodesk as a Senior Manager of Global Stock, US 401K, and US Deferred Compensation Program (DCP) Administration. This role reports to the Head of Global Payroll & Stock and is based in the US. The position involves working virtually with a dispersed global team within a leading finance organization.

Position Overview

Autodesk seeks a strategic and authoritative leader to manage our global stock compensation programs, US 401K, and DCP administration. The Senior Manager will oversee compliance, administration, and strategic initiatives to drive program success at a global level.

Responsibilities
  • Lead global stock administration, compliance, and reporting functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage filings related to stock plans, including tax and regulatory requirements, such as China SAFE filings.
  • Oversee US retirement plans, including 401K and DCP.
  • Supervise complex stock transactions like grants, exercises, RSU releases, and ESPP purchases.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across departments to develop and implement stock compensation strategies.
  • Coordinate with payroll teams worldwide to ensure tax compliance and reporting.
  • Drive process improvements and automation to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop communication and educational strategies for stock, 401K, and DCP programs.
  • Prepare data reports on participation, eligibility, performance, and costs to support decision-making.
  • Ensure SOX compliance and readiness for audits, maintaining thorough documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Expertise in stock plan management with strategic problem-solving skills.
  • B.S. in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in global stock plan administration, including mobile employee trailing compensation, preferably in a public company.
  • Strong knowledge of SOX, internal controls, and audit processes.
  • Proficiency in automation and operational streamlining.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with stock administration platforms like E*TRADE’s Client Resource Center or Equity Edge Online.
  • Knowledge of data systems such as Workday, RPAs, and analytics tools.
  • Skills in automation tools like Alteryx and Airtable.
  • Leadership experience managing teams and large projects.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Professional certifications such as CEP are highly desirable.
