Description

Clinique is looking for a strong candidate to join the global marketing team leading Global PR and comms for Clinique makeup and fragrance as well as providing support on executive communications. This role sits within the PR & Comms team and will work closely across the global brand, regions, as well as the senior leadership team on executive level communications. This role will also be a close partner to the 360 Integrated Marketing team for both Makeup and Fragrance.

Primary Role:

Develop comprehensive Global PR & Comms Strategy for Clinique makeup category, build compelling storytelling for all commercial innovation, product launches in makeup and fragrance category | Support Global PR & Comms strategies that amplify brand storytelling, drive awareness, and align with Global Marketing objectives | Support key cultural moments and always on opportunities with creative earned media ideation and execution guidelines | Support Clinique executives with developing compelling messaging for speaking engagements and external press guidelines | Provide strategic guidance to markets to ensure best practices are rolled out and leveraged | Proactive budget management, contract negotiations, agent relationships, briefs and integration into media, marketing programs and content | Oversee the development and on-time delivery of all assets for new product launches | Monitor and optimize budgets and earned media KPIs monthly to drive key priorities and ensure maximum ROI.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Identify brand-right relationships across all business categories and content types | Draft copy, press materials, messaging, launch materials | Remain on the pulse makeup trends to ensure news-worthy creative ideation and maximum exposure for select audiences | Create a center of excellence and share insights and best practices across markets & regions | Work closely with Clinique’s creative, social, product marketing, education and regional teams | Manage monthly and quarterly to create actionable insights for future product launches and programs; integrate data into broader marketing reports to ensure data-driven content decisions.

Qualifications
  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7+ years of relevant experience managing influencers
  • Excellent writing, editorial and storytelling skills are paramount. Writing samples may be required as part of the selection process.
  • Creative, collaborative, and communicative with a desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • An understanding of fashion and beauty trends and new technology a plus
  • Creative thinker with impeccable attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to appreciate other cultures, and an understanding of the cosmetic industry, fashion trends and pop culture.
  • Ability to multitask and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Self-starter
  • Demonstrates strong executive presence and the ability to inspire and influence
