Job summary

International Game Technology is hiring an Accounting Manager, Close and Consolidations, to lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation process in a multinational environment. You will supervise staff and coordinate with regional finance teams, ensuring compliance with U.S.

GAAP and company policies. The role requires strong expertise in intercompany eliminations, currency translation, SAP consolidation tools, and Oracle HFM, with advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of progressive accounting experience with close and consolidations in a multinational context.
• Experience supervising staff or leading accounting processes.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, intercompany accounting and eliminations, and consolidated cash flow reporting.
• Experience with SAP and financial consolidation systems; SAP ECC/ECCS and Oracle HFM preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large datasets and reconcile complex balances.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned close and consolidation activities, maintain the close calendar, monitor dependencies and deadlines, and escalate issues affecting reporting accuracy or timeliness.
• Prepare and review consolidation journal entries and schedules, including recurring and late entries; ensure adjustments are reflected in final results.
• Coordinate intercompany profit eliminations across global entities and ensure proper recognition and reversal of eliminations.
• Maintain and validate foreign exchange rates used in the close; perform related remeasurement and translation adjustments.
• Perform consolidation processing in SAP and the Company’s consolidation systems; manage company-code submissions and runs.
• Prepare and review consolidation reconciliations; investigate intercompany differences and system exceptions.
• Coordinate trial balance submissions and validate data mappings and outputs.
• Prepare and review cash flow data downloads and support the consolidated cash flows.
• Evaluate cumulative translation adjustments for dissolutions or disposals and record entries per policy.
• Review consolidated financial movements and provide explanations and analyses to management.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and strong internal controls; support audits and remediation.
