Job summary

Hamilton Beach Brands, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Accounting Operations in Glen Allen, VA. You will lead transactional accounting across AR, AP, Inventory, and Treasury, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX.

You will drive process standardization, automation, and robust internal controls while partnering with Procurement, Operations, IT, and other functions to optimize financial workflows and deliver timely financial data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in high-volume or shared services.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance.
• Experience leading transactional functions and leveraging automation.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership over AR, AP, Inventory, and Treasury operations.
• Oversee inventory accounting and treasury activities including forecasting and working capital optimization.
• Serve as escalation point for complex vendor, customer, and internal issues.
• Lead monthly close with journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data for enterprise reporting.
• Establish SOPs and scalable shared services operating model.
