Job summary

American International Group (AIG) is seeking a Finance Professional to support GI International financial reporting, co-ordinate statutory reporting activities, and drive balance sheet optimization. You will partner with regional Controllership teams and Finance Transformation to improve reporting processes and strengthen controls.

The role requires 3+ years in financial reporting or controllership, a Bachelor's in Accounting, and preferably CPA.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years experience in financial reporting, accounting, or controllership roles in a public company.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Insurance industry experience is a plus.
• Strong Excel experience; SAP and Power BI a plus.
• Strong problem solving and project management skills.
• Strong communication and presentational skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate timely, accurate, and complete financial reporting results and disclosures for GI International's quarterly and annual requirements.
• Collaborate with regional finance teams and stakeholders to coordinate updates and ensure alignment.
• Lead initiatives to strengthen Balance Sheet integrity, transparency, and reconciliation quality.
• Strengthen governance across local statutory and IFRS reporting, status updates, and deadlines.
• Review and enhance reporting frameworks to streamline processes and improve efficiency and timelines.
• Partner with Finance transformation teams to implement enhanced reporting solutions across Controllership.
