Job summary

Einstein Bros Bagels is seeking a Senior Manager, Franchise and License Development and Administration to guide the franchise development lifecycle from prospect to transfer. You will coordinate with Legal, IT, Marketing, and franchise partners to ensure compliant, timely growth and strong partner relationships.

The role emphasizes rigorous process management, documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration in a remote/office hybrid setting across the Bagel Brands portfolio.5+ years preferred

Qualifications

• Approximately 5–7 years of experience in franchise and license development, business development, real estate, deal administration, or a related field.
• Full-cycle deal management experience.
• Experience reviewing, managing, or coordinating contracts and other detailed legal or business documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage franchise development lead database and respond to prospective franchise candidates.
• Oversee disclosure and vetting processes for candidates, including financial/background reviews.
• Build trusted relationships with prospective franchisees and explain development requirements.
• Collaborate with Franchise and License Business Development, Operations, and stakeholders throughout evaluation and approval.
• Track pipeline status, milestones, and outstanding requirements.
• Prepare, track, and present legal documentation for development and franchise agreements.
• Monitor compliance with development agreements, incentives, and deadlines.
• Manage renewal and transfer processes for franchise agreements and territories.
• Coordinate with Legal on renewal and transfer documentation and fees.
• Manage vendor relationships and monitor terms, expiration, and renewal dates.
• Support adherence to FTC, PII, and ADA requirements.
