Job summary

Bagel Brands seeks a Senior Manager, Franchise and License Development and Administration to lead the lifecycle from prospect through approval, contracting, opening, renewal, and transfer.

You will coordinate with Legal, Operations, IT, Marketing, and external partners to ensure compliance with FTC, PII, and ADA requirements while managing processes, documentation, and timelines for a growing franchise portfolio.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5–7 years of experience in franchise and license development, business development, real estate, deal administration, or a related field.
• Full-cycle deal management experience.
• Experience reviewing, managing, or coordinating contracts and other detailed documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Experience with electronic document management platforms such as DocuSign and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Manage franchise development lead database and respond professionally to prospective franchise candidates.
• Oversee disclosure and vetting processes for candidates, including financial information, background, and experience.
• Build relationships with prospective franchisees and guide them through development requirements.
• Coordinate with Legal, IT, Marketing, Operations and other stakeholders throughout evaluation and approval.
• Maintain pipeline visibility, milestones, and next steps.
• Monitor compliance with development agreements and incentive programs.
