Job summary

Empower Retirement, LLC seeks a Senior Manager, Workplace Planning & Advice to lead a team delivering education and fiduciary guidance to plan participants. You will own onboarding and development plans to accelerate productivity and progression into senior roles, while coaching teams on the Empower advice model, BIP, referrals, and product guidance.

You will supervise interactions to ensure compliant, high-quality advice, monitor metrics, and partner with Training and Workforce teams to align

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• FINRA Series 7, 24, and 66 required; Series 9/10 acceptable substitute for 24; Series 63/65 permissible.
• FINRA fingerprinting is required.
• 3+ years in financial services or Workplace Planning & Advice.
• 1–2 years of leadership or coaching experience preferred.
• Familiarity with qualified plan types, IRAs, advice delivery, and service center operations.
• Commitment to development, coaching, and service quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Consultants delivering education and fiduciary advice to plan participants.
• Own onboarding, development, and performance plans to accelerate proficiency and progression.
• Coach team on Empower advice model, Best Interest Profile, referrals, and product guidance.
• Supervise participant interactions for compliant, accurate advice delivery.
• Monitor performance metrics including quality scores, service standards, call volume, and referrals.
• Act as supervisory principal for fiduciary advice and account openings in regulatory compliance.
• Partner with training, workforce management, and segment leaders to align hiring and schedules.
• Identify escalations, address root causes, and foster continuous improvement.
• Conduct one-on-one meetings, call reviews, performance appraisals, and feedback conversations.
• Champion culture, diversity, recognition, and career mobility within the team.
