Parabilis Medicines is seeking an experienced Senior Finance & Accounting professional to join our Cambridge, MA team. You will own monthly and quarterly financial statements, lead technical accounting matters, and help implement ICFR with external advisors, reporting to the VP of Finance.
The ideal candidate has a CPA, 5–8 years in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) or biotech/pharma industry experience, strong US GAAP knowledge, and excellent written communication.

This newly created role is critical to the finance and accounting function and includes primary responsibility for preparing monthly and quarterly internal and external financial statements and related analyses. This role will also take the lead regarding technical accounting matters, with or without the assistance of external advisors depending on the matter. This role will also be involved with the implementation and maintenance of the department’s formal structure of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR). This role calls for performing rigorous technical research and developing welldocumented memos, executive-ready analyses, and implementation approaches that support confident, flexible decision-making. In doing so, this role protects the integrity of our financial reporting, supports compliant growth, and advances the strategic objectives of the finance and accounting organization and the broader company. This role reports to the Company’s VP of Finance/Corporate Controller.

The base salary range for this position is $140,000-$170,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and internal practices.
