Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the FitOps finance team, focusing on ARR metrics, revenue outlook, and cloud business analysis. You’ll help design and own ARR reporting, build dashboards, and partner with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Finance to ensure accurate forecasts and governance.

Ideal candidates have extensive SaaS finance experience, strong analytical skills, and a track record of delivering data-driven insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of related experience in SaaS finance, FP&A, revenue operations, or business analytics.
  • Minimum 2+ years in a people management role.
  • Strong ability to build ARR reporting frameworks and governance.

Responsibilities

  • Help develop a team of analysts responsible for ARR metrics and reporting.
  • Own end-to-end ARR reporting framework, definitions, governance and data integrity.
  • Partner with Corporate, GTM FP&A, Revenue Operations, and Sales for alignment on ARR targets.
  • Design and maintain executive dashboards and reporting for CFO and C-suite.
  • Drive annual and quarterly ARR planning, forecasting bookings, renewals, churn.
  • Identify trends and translate data into actionable recommendations for leadership.

Are you ready to take your financial analysis skills to the next level? We have an outstanding opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join our world-class FitOps team! The FitOps team at Cohesity is dedicated to achieving positive financial results by supporting various sales models for customers and partners. The Finance Analyst’s contributions will be essential in developing operational guidelines and policies for both standard and custom selling models, with a particular emphasis on our cloud business and cloud marketplaces.

This position has a meaningful role in ensuring the operational excellence of the Cohesity Cloud Services business! We are looking for someone ready to supervise performance, report on key initiatives, and act as a liaison between the business and Finance.

How You’ll Spend Your Time Here
  • Help develop a team of analysts responsible for ARR metrics, fostering a culture of accuracy, rigor, and continuous improvement
  • Assist in owning the end-to-end ARR reporting framework, including metric definitions, governance, and data integrity across new ARR, renewals, expansions, and churn
  • Partner closely with Corporate and GTM FP&A, Revenue Operations, and Sales to ensure alignment on ARR definitions, targets, and performance tracking
  • Design and maintain executive-level dashboards and reporting packages that communicate ARR performance, trends, and variances to the CFO and C‑suite stakeholders
  • Drive the annual and quarterly ARR planning process, developing and refining models that forecast bookings, renewals, net retention, and churn
  • Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities in ARR data and translate findings into actionable recommendations for executive leadership
  • Build scalable processes and tooling to improve the accuracy, timeliness, and automation of ARR reporting
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on ARR metrics, educating cross‑functional teams on methodology and ensuring consistent application across the organization
  • Influence across all levels from the front lines to the C‑suite through clear communication of complex financial and revenue metrics
  • Tackle ambiguous, open‑ended ARR questions and quickly develop structured, data‑driven solutions
We’d Love to Talk If You Have Many of the Following
  • 8+ years of related experience in SaaS finance, FP&A, revenue operations, or business analytics, with 2+ years in a people management role
  • Deep expertise in SaaS/Subscription revenue metrics including ARR, NRR, GRR, bookings, churn, upsell/cross‑sell, and cohort analysis
  • Proven ability to build and lead high‑performing analytics or finance teams, with a track record of developing talent and driving results in a fast‑growing technology company
  • Strong track record of designing ARR reporting frameworks and driving data governance initiatives across complex, cross‑functional organizations
  • Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to synthesize large, disparate data sets and translate them into clear executive narratives
  • Experience with BI/analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, Snowflake)
  • Highly collaborative and comfortable working cross‑functionally with Sales, Revenue Operations, Customer Success, and Finance leadership
  • Executive‑ready communication skills, with experience presenting complex metrics and financial analyses directly to the C‑suite
  • Ability to work quickly in a fast‑paced environment while balancing strategic thinking with meticulous attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data‑driven decision making
Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws

This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations; therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full‑time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.

Pay Range: $181,800.00–$202,000.00

The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full‑time employment.
