Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably in research, scientific, clinical, or healthcare environments
  • Proficiency with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed, decisive decisions
  • Proven experience managing project budgets and allocating resources effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the capacity to prioritize competing demands
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities with the capacity to present information clearly and transparently to diverse audiences
  • Proficiency with project management tools and software platforms
  • Demonstrated leadership capability and experience supervising, coordinating, or supporting team efforts in collaborative environments
  • Comprehensive knowledge of research protocols, compliance requirements, documentation standards, and regulatory frameworks
  • Understanding of family medicine, primary care research, or clinical research contexts
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and IRB processes
  • Experience coordinating with clinical staff and managing research activities within clinical settings
  • Experience with grant management or research funding processes
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis tools or data visualization software
  • Background or domain expertise in scientific research, clinical research, family medicine, or related healthcare fields
  • Experience with clinical trial management or patient-centered research methodologies
  • Knowledge of family practice-specific research methodologies and evidence-based practice implementation

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and execute research projects of moderate to high complexity within the family practice setting, establishing clear objectives, realistic timelines, and measurable deliverables
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, risk mitigation strategies, and contingency planning tailored to clinical research environments
  • Manage project budgets effectively, track expenditures, and ensure efficient allocation of financial and human resources while maintaining fiscal accountability
  • Coordinate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including researchers, clinicians, analysts, administrative staff, and external partners to ensure smooth project execution
  • Monitor project progress against established milestones and key performance indicators, identifying deviations promptly and implementing corrective actions
  • Prepare detailed project documentation, status reports, and presentations for stakeholders and senior management with clarity and transparency
  • Identify potential risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and maintain continuity
  • Maintain strict compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, research protocols, HIPAA standards, and Institutional Review Board (IRB) guidelines
  • Support and empower team members by removing obstacles, facilitating effective communication, and fostering a collaborative environment across all project phases
  • Analyze project data and metrics to drive continuous improvement, identify best practices, and inform future project planning and resource allocation
  • Coordinate with clinical staff and patient populations to ensure research activities align with family practice operations and patient care priorities
  • Manage grant-related documentation and support grant management processes as needed
