Fabletics, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Manager, Material Development to lead the creative and technical authority for materials.

You will own the end-to-end material development roadmap, manage a fabric team, and partner with Design, Production, Merchandising, and Sourcing to deliver high-quality, cost-efficient material solutions. The role requires 7+ years in fabric development, 3+ years of leadership, and strong technical expertise across knits and wovens.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of fabric development experience across lifestyle and performance fabrics.
• 3+ years leading a team within material development or R&D.
• Deep technical expertise in knit and/or woven constructions, yarns, dyes, finishes.
• Strong taste level and ability to communicate material excellence.
• Experience with global mills, cost targets, and development timelines.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end material development roadmap from concept to bulk production.
• Lead mill and vendor partnerships globally to optimize cost and quality.
• Collaborate with Design, Production, Merchandising, and Sourcing to ensure materials meet targets.
• Set standards for materials aesthetics and performance across knits, wovens, and performance fabrics.
• Develop scalable workflows and SOPs for the fabric team; elevate quality and speed.
• Maintain material data in PLM/BOM systems and dashboards; ensure accuracy.
