Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university.
• CPA certification required.
• 11+ years of accounting experience, including recent Big 4 public accounting.
• Experience directly managing and developing others.
• Ability to work 5 days a week in the Glenview, IL office.
• Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of leading large, complex projects.
• Able to perform in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor accounting literature for new reporting requirements and implement standards.
• Prepare quarterly accounting and regulatory update presentations for senior management and the Audit Committee.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations and reporting teams on SEC filings and disclosures.
• Consult with operating and finance personnel on accounting questions and policies.
• Develop and maintain Financial Policies & Procedures.
• Coordinate with auditors on technical accounting and internal controls matters.
• Oversee impairment testing, lease accounting, and cash flow statements.
• Directly manage department staff and activities.
• Lead projects to improve close efficiency and accuracy.
• Focus on talent management within Corporate Finance & Accounting.
