Job summary

Cresco Labs is seeking a Senior Manager, External Reporting to join our corporate finance team in Chicago, IL. The role leads a team of external reporting analysts and owns the month-end close for stock-based compensation and other equity transactions.

You will drive the full implementation of Certent, coordinate with payroll on equity events, and ensure timely filings under U.S. GAAP and SEC rules in a fast-paced publicly traded environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA certification is required.
• 7+ years of accounting or external reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting rules.
• Experience with equity systems implementation.
• Proficiency with Certent, Intacct, BPC or Workiva.
• Mitigates ambiguity in a fast-paced public company.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual SEC filings.
• Lead SBC month-end close and equity transactions.
• Implement Certent equity accounting system.
• Manage external reporting analysts and cross-functional coordination.
• Maintain SOX controls and liaise with auditors.
