American Cancer Society is seeking a remote Event Fundraising Lead to manage a $400,000+ portfolio across Pensacola and Mobile markets. You will drive revenue by engaging donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community leaders while delivering mission-focused experiences.

You will plan and execute fundraising activities, coordinate budgets and vendors, grow the donor pipeline, and align participants with broader engagement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 2 years fundraising experience preferred.
• Strong relationship-building and donor engagement.
• Excellent project management and event execution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and donor experience orientation.

Responsibilities

• Builds and manages relationships with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners to achieve revenue goals and grow engagement.
• Leads planning and execution of event fundraising activities, including logistics, budgets, vendor coordination, and experience delivery.
• Develops and executes strategies to grow revenue, participation, and donor pipeline within assigned portfolio.
• Aligns event participants and partners to broader organizational engagement opportunities to deepen long-term impact.
• Monitors performance against goals, adjusting strategies to optimize revenue and ROI.

Responsible for leading the strategy, planning, and execution of a $400,000+ event fundraising portfolio across the Pensacola/Mobile markets. Drives revenue growth through strategic engagement with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community leaders while delivering high-quality, mission-focused event experiences. Builds and manages key relationships throughout the region, actively moving constituents through the donor pipeline to strengthen long-term engagement, increase fundraising opportunities, and expand community impact.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:* Builds and manages relationships with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners to achieve revenue goals and grow engagement. **40%*** Leads planning and execution of event fundraising activities, including logistics, budgets, vendor coordination, and experience delivery. **20%*** Develops and executes strategies to grow revenue, participation, and donor pipeline within assigned portfolio. **15%*** Aligns event participants and partners to broader organizational engagement opportunities to deepen long-term impact. **10%*** Monitors performance against goals, adjusting strategies to optimize revenue and return on investment. **10%*** Coordinates cross-functional partners to ensure successful event delivery and brand alignment. **5%**EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:* Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree* Preferred Degree: Bachelor's Degree* Years of experience: 2 years successful experience in fundraising and relationship development KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY: * Demonstrated success driving revenue through relationship building and volunteer engagement.* Strong project management and event execution skills.* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.* Effective relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills.* Strong customer and donor experience orientation.The starting rate is $70,000 to $80,000. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended.
