Job summary

Hyundai Motor Company in the United States is seeking a seasoned Fleet Sales leader to join the Executive Director of Fleet and drive profitable government and rideshare sales programs nationwide. You will work with internal stakeholders and end-user fleet customers to shape future products and go-to-market strategies in the HMA LCV team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and relevant automotive experience.
• Eight or more years automotive experience with fleet exposure.
• Five or more years of commercial fleet experience.
• Three or more years of government sales preferred.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.

What You Will Do

• Support the entire Fleet team assisting Executive management with solutions that improve Fleet sales and customer satisfaction. You will drive profitable Commercial Sales volume across government, mobility and rideshare channels nationwide, working closely with internal stakeholders and end-user fleet customers. You will also play a key role in developing future products and related go-to-market strategies that meet customer needs as a member of the HMA LCV team.
• Support a positive team culture within HMA Fleet.
• Help team exceed fleet sales and share objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers.
• Develop new business that results in new profitable fleet growth.
• Provide leadership that shapes future fleet products and related strategies.
• Use your skills and experience to make HMA Fleet easier for customers to do business with.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Develop and execute annual government and rideshare sales strategies.
• Engage directly with stakeholders and end users to promote and support Hyundai fleet products and programs.
• Collaborate with the internal departments to commercialize EV offerings for AV rideshare applications.
• Represent Fleet team in Regional and HMC Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) team meetings, contributing to discussions, conducting research, and providing voice-of-customer input.
• Lead the development and execution of HMA U.S. LCV fleet go-to-market strategy.
• Collaborate with strategy, aftersales, and other internal teams to support programs and policies that improve departmental efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Develop sales incentive recommendations, sales presentations and product training in support of entire fleet sales team.
• The position has the authority to engage dealers in collaboration with the regions.
• Sell commercial and government units within parameters set by the Executive Director of Fleet.

What You Will Bring To The Role

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Master’s degree a plus.
• Eight or more years automotive experience.
• Five or more years of commercial fleet experience desired.
• Three or more years of government sales preferred.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Outlook, Excel, Power Point, and QMF helpful
• Outstanding interpersonal skill set.
• High performance in fast paced environment.
• Network Development skills required.

What Hyundai Can Offer You

• Compensation Range: $114,800 - $164,000
• Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
• Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.
