SYSTEM West Virginia University Health System is seeking a reimbursement finance leader to ensure hospital compliance with state and federal reporting requirements. This role manages Medicare Cost Reports, WV HCA filings, and other filings for all hospitals, while guiding budget and reserve analyses.

Requires a Bachelor’s in Business (Accounting/Finance) with 5 years in healthcare finance; MBA or CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in healthcare finance or accounting.
• Extensive knowledge of third party reimbursement regulations.
• Experience with external Medicare Cost Reports and WV HCA filings.
• Ability to manage net revenue, budgets and reserves.

Responsabilités

• Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations related to reimbursement.
• Manages preparation and analysis of external Medicare Cost Reports and other filings.
• Reviews reimbursement regulations and communicates financial impact of changes.
• Coordinates development of the net revenue budget and reserves analysis.
• Delivers leadership to reimbursement staff and coordinates with legal counsel.
