Job summary

Stellar Development Foundation is seeking a Senior Manager, Enterprise Payments BD to accelerate growth in active accounts and strengthen Stellar as a leading blockchain for payments. The role focuses on building out Stellar’s payments and stablecoin ecosystem, growing wallets globally, and expanding into new verticals while coordinating with RWA and DeFi teams to deliver holistic deals.

Significant cross-functional collaboration is required to drive primary OKRs on account growth and payment

Qualifications

• 8+ years in business development with global payments, fintech, or blockchain/crypto roles.
• Existing relationships within Enterprise, Fintech, Payments, or Crypto ecosystems, especially payments, RWA, and DeFi.
• Crypto knowledge: experience with crypto payment systems, exchanges, and digital asset payments.
• Deep understanding of payment flows and how blockchain can enhance them across regions.
• Strategic, GTM experience and ability to structure, negotiate, and close opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Refine the Payments Strategy and drive Monthly Active Account volume on Stellar, including B2B2B/B2B2C payouts and related ecosystems.
• Develop a priority target list and ensure execution against primary targets.
• Manage key strategic relationships with major accounts.
• Lead BD on expanding DeFi, increasing monthly addresses, and driving asset tokenization in coordination with vertical leads.
