Job summary

Atomic Machines in Emeryville, CA, seeks a Senior Manager of Networking and Security to architect and govern our enterprise network across production and corporate sites. You’ll lead a small team, set priorities, and partner with IT, engineering, and manufacturing to align connectivity with business goals.

The role requires deep hands-on expertise with AWS networking, firewall and threat protection, and a track record of delivering secure, scalable infrastructure in a high-tech manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Network Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive network engineering experience.
• 3+ years in people management or technical lead role.
• Experience architecting enterprise-grade networks in manufacturing or regulated environments.
• 5+ years of hands-on AWS networking experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small network and security team.
• Own end-to-end enterprise network architecture and security.
• Design hybrid cloud connectivity between on-prem and AWS and manage guardrails.
• Oversee incident response and 24/7 network operations.
• Partner with IT, OT, and manufacturing stakeholders on roadmap and governance.
