Job summary

Agios Pharmaceuticals is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Corporate Communications to join our Corporate Communications team and shape how we inform, connect, and engage employees and external audiences.

The role focuses on internal and employee communications, translating strategy and milestones into clear messages that connect employees to our mission and patient communities. You will steward Agios’ culture and collaborate across teams in a hybrid Cambridge, MA environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of progressive communications experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Experience leading internal and employee communications in a complex, fast-moving organization.
• Strong operational and project management capabilities for company-wide meetings and events.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills for clear, engaging messages.
• Experience supporting corporate social media and digital communications, including content development and editorial planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal communications strategy to connect employees with mission, strategy, and culture.
• Own coordination for all-company meetings and enterprise-wide moments, including messaging and logistics.
• Plan and execute all-company gatherings, coordinating content, executive participation, vendors, and run-of-show.
• Partner with executive and administrative teams to ensure seamless company-wide communications.
• Provide strategic counsel and develop clear messaging for senior leaders and teams.
• Translate complex scientific and business topics into accessible communications for internal and external audiences.
• Support external communications and social media to tell Agios’s story across channels.
• Collaborate with partners and manage external events to deliver high-quality work.
