Job summary

Stryker Corporation is seeking a senior data governance leader to onboard domains, confirm ownership, establish stewardship coverage, and close ownership gaps across the enterprise.

You will drive adoption through bi-weekly Domain Working Groups, translate policy into domain-level applications, and prepare decisions for the Data Governance Board. This role emphasizes collaboration with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IS, Data Management, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years in data governance, data management, or a business-facing data role.
• Experience facilitating cross-functional groups and driving adoption without direct authority.
• Knowledge of data ownership, stewardship, classification, and data quality.
• Strong written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Route requests and issues using the shared classification rubric, so every item reaches an accountable owner.
• Support day-one M&A data governance for US acquisitions.

What You Need

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Business, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years in data governance, data management, or a business-facing data role
• Demonstrated experience facilitating cross-functional working groups and driving adoption without direct authority
• Working knowledge of data ownership, stewardship, classification, and data quality practice
• Strong written and verbal communication with senior business stakeholders

Preferred:

• Master’s degree
• Commercial, finance, or supply chain experience in a global manufacturer or medical device company
• Familiarity with Informatica CDGC or a comparable catalog and glossary platform
• Change management certification

• USN : $155,900 - $259,700 USD Annual
• US5 : $163,700 - $272,700 USD Annual
• US10 : $171,500 - $285,700 USD Annual
• US15 : $179,300 - $298,700 USD Annual
• US20 : $187,100 - $311,600 USD Annual
• US30 : $202,700 - $337,600 USD Annual
