The Home Depot seeks a seasoned Logistics leader to oversee a defined area of logistics management, reducing costs while improving store support and service. You will direct and optimize assigned programs, plan resources, and ensure timely execution of key initiatives.

You will mentor staff, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and translate strategic plans into actionable projects with clear timelines. Overnight travel is expected occasionally as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Six years of work experience in logistics or related field.
• Nine to twelve years of experience preferred; logistics experience and management experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide support and direction for area’s efforts.
• Manage all aspects of assigned area’s operations and programs.
• Participate in strategic planning and facilitate action; provide logistics and store/retail expertise as needed.
• Plan resources to complete competing priorities within the provided timeframe; prepare project design and timelines.
• Select, develop, and motivate assigned staff; may negotiate transportation costs.
