And our Pricing & Revenue Management team is providing fuel for that journey by ensuring that we maximize our ticket revenue on every single flight across our network – both domestically and internationally – while giving our customers various product offerings for their travel. By analyzing market trends and forecasting consumer demand, this team works hard to ensure we are selling the right number of tickets at the right price to optimize our revenue and run a profitable airline.
Job overview and responsibilitiesDirect revenue management activity through analysis of market conditions and effective interface with RM optimization systems.
- Oversight of a team of analysts and one principal in implementing revenue management strategies to achieve optimal revenue performance
- Translate strategic direction into actionable activities and monitor analysts’ actions and outcomes to ensure adherence to strategy
- Report on revenue performance in cross commercial leadership meetings
- Coordinate communications on revenue management activities and action plans to improve route performance with other commercial divisions, primarily Sales, Network Planning, Alliances
NOTE: This position provides a hybrid work arrangement including approximately 50% of the time spent onsite at our Chicago office location and 50% remotely.
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ Years of related experience
- 2+ years of experience in inventory management or pricing
- Revenue management or pricing experience; Analytical ability to build models and generate spreadsheets to provide support recommendations; Ability to create PowerPoint presentations and present to various audiences
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
