Job description

Position Summary...

The Senior Manager, Digital Media will strategize and optimize Paid Search, Paid Social, and Digital Display channels to meet Walmart's business goals. The role involves leading forecasting processes, creating data-driven strategies, and developing new channel capabilities. You should be able to align digital strategies with business objectives, identify growth opportunities, and have strong skills in data analysis, performance reporting, and budget management. You will report to a Group Director, Digital Media.

What you'll do...
  • Serve as the always-on digital planning lead across Paid Search, Paid Social, and Digital Display channels, responsible for delivering on Walmart's annual GMV and Traffic objectives.
  • Lead annual, quarterly, and ad hoc spend forecasting processes with an emphasis on accurate KPI performance projections.
  • Provide thought leadership for Evergreen campaigns, ensuring Walmart's strategic initiatives are integrated throughout channels.
  • Utilize data and insights to create meaningful strategies and impactful testing plans, collaborating across teams and business units.
  • Share weekly performance updates, providing data-driven insights and accountability for channel delivery towards business targets.
  • Build relationships across the business, aligning stakeholders to Evergreen priorities, and clearly communicating objectives and performance.
  • Monitor business performance and optimize channel allocations and tactics to meet marketing and business goals.
  • Develop new channel capabilities and functionalities to support emerging business needs through rigorous, ongoing test-and-learn strategies.

  • A data-driven approach to decision-making, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Expertise in performance reporting and optimization techniques to improve KPIs and meet business goals.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, capable of distilling complex information into digestible insights.
  • Experience with budget management and spend forecasting to maximize ROAS.
  • Attention to detail and experience managing complex processes like annual forecasting and spend management.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field and 3 years’ experience in marketing or related field OR 5 years’ experience in marketing or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in digital marketing (e.g., affiliate marketing, display advertising), leading cross-functional teams, and retail or digital analytics. For example, 7+ years in performance media, 3+ years leading cross-functional teams, and 2+ years in Retail or eCommerce Analytics.
