Job summary

Modivcare is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to set technical direction for secure, reliable software and infrastructure delivery across multiple teams in Denver. You will lead a modernization of delivery platforms, govern Pulumi-based IaC, CI/CD standards, release safety, and developer enablement while applying AWS Well-Architected principles.

The role requires 8+ years in DevOps and 3+ years leadership, with AWS or Google Cloud experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field required.
• Eight (8) plus years experience in DevOps or a related role.
• Three (3) plus years leadership responsibility.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with deploying and maintaining a cloud-based microservice infrastructure.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and configuration management tools.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps principles, best practices, and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, etc.)

• Lead and manage the DevOps team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of DevOps processes and tools.
• Collaborate with software development and IT operations teams to automate processes.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation.
• Ensure security and compliance of DevOps practices.
• Monitor KPIs related to DevOps processes and report findings.
