Job summary

Kendo Holdings, Inc. in San Francisco is seeking a Temp Manager/Senior Manager, Supply and Demand Planning to lead end-to-end demand and supply planning for rapid international expansion.

The role combines market launches coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, cost-effective market introductions and ongoing supply chain resilience. The position is hybrid in downtown San Francisco with in-office Tue–Thu and remote Mon & Fri.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred but not required.
• Minimum 5–7 years in Change/Materials/Procurement/Production/Supply/Demand/Logistics.
• Minimum 3+ years leading New Production Launches (Cosmetic industry preferred).
• Knowledge of MRP, scheduling, capacity planning and financial objectives to reflect execution schedule.
• 3+ years ERP/MRP experience (Dynamics 365 is a plus).
• Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas).
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, and process management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and own the supply chain operational plan to meet demand and inventory targets.
• Manage market-specific inventory and mitigate budget gaps or liabilities.
• Report inventory risks and coordinate root-cause analysis and resolutions for shortages.
• Support ad hoc projects with shelf-life and timing considerations.
• Review forecasts to align ERP plans with sales strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes.
• Develop new operational processes for market requirements.
• Assess risks in change initiatives and create mitigation plans.
• Identify disruptions and partner with teams to find solutions.
• Work with contract manufacturers to explore options and solutions.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and align with business strategy.
