Job summary

Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. in California seeks a Sr. Manager, Systems (Technical Marketing) & Apps to lead market-facing strategy for next-gen DC-DC power modules.

You will bridge lab bench to executive discussions, shaping product direction and winning strategic customers in data center, AI, and industrial markets. You will drive architecture, performance targets, and cross-functional roadmaps, while mentoring engineers and accelerating startup-like execution within a large semiconductor

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in power electronics with hands-on expertise in switching converters.
• Experience in DC-DC power modules, POL converters, or power management ICs.
• Design, build, and debug hardware in the lab with system-level power architecture knowledge.
• Strong customer engagement skills and ability to influence technical decisions.
• Excellent communication for audiences from engineers to executives.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute technical marketing strategy for DC-DC power module portfolios.
• Translate system requirements into product definitions and roadmaps.
• Influence architecture, feature prioritization, and performance targets with R&D.
• Lead cross-functional roadmaps across engineering, product management, QA, and operations.
• Drive design-in and design-win activities with key customers through deep engagement.
• Provide hands-on application support, including design guidance, simulations, and lab validation.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a high-performance, entrepreneurial culture.
