Job summary

IEHP in California seeks a Manager, Data Science to lead a team of data scientists, ML engineers, and AI specialists. You will develop production-grade ML models and GenAI applications, and align AI initiatives with business strategy in a managed care environment.

This senior role requires 10+ years in data science, 7+ in ML, and 5+ in leadership, plus hands-on Cloud/On-prem AI platforms and healthcare analytics. A Bachelor's in math/CS is required; a Master’s is preferred.

Qualifications

At least ten years of experience in data science & ML with seven+ years in leadership roles.
Proven track record leading AI/ML projects from conception to production.
Experience with cloud AI platforms (Azure ML, Vertex AI) and/or on-prem MLOps.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of data scientists, ML engineers, and AI specialists.
Develop production-grade ML models and GenAI applications.
Align AI initiatives with business strategy and measurable outcomes.
Drive quality and governance in AI projects including bias mitigation and interpretability.
