Job summary

Metso is seeking a Senior Manager/Manager, Data to lead enterprise-wide data management capabilities including governance and quality. You will shape data strategy, define operating models, and drive practical, scalable initiatives across the organization.

The role reports to the Director, Data Enablement within the Data & Analytics organization and involves collaborating across business, data and IT in a federated model, driving value from data assets.

Qualifications

• Experience in data governance, data quality, metadata management, master data management or data strategy.
• Experience leading data initiatives in a global matrix organization.
• Ability to translate business, data and IT perspectives into practical, value-adding solutions.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an assigned enterprise data management capability (data governance, quality, metadata, or strategy).
• Define and improve concepts, operating models, processes, standards and governance practices.
• Translate strategic objectives into a practical capability roadmap and scalable initiatives.
• Establish cross-functional working methods across business, data and IT with coaching and training.
