Job summary

AF Group seeks a Manager, Data Governance & Analytics to lead enterprise analytics initiatives, govern data quality, and align analytics across business units. The role drives governance, budget planning, and vendor management while building strong cross-functional relationships to operationalize analytics across the enterprise.

You will partner with data scientists, data engineers, and IT governance to advance analytics maturity, develop executive-level presentations, and ensure timely delivery

Qualifications

• General understanding of P&C insurance.
• In-depth knowledge of workers' compensation preferred.
• Experience leading projects and/or teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to present to management at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Leads Data Governance and Analytics Center of Excellence teams, provides coaching and development.
• Oversees data governance initiatives: Data Quality, Data Stewardship, Data Acquisition and Release Policy, Data Privacy.
• Creates and maintains enterprise data and analytics strategy and maturity model.
• Coordinates yearly planning with team leaders, including budgeting, staffing, and training.
• Uses project management to collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, data governors, and stakeholders.
• Collaborates with IT governance to support enterprise portfolio via advanced analytics.
• Prepares executive presentations on analytics governance and project progress.
• Coordinates sources of truth, definitions, and algorithms across the enterprise.
• Partners with cross-functional teams to develop analytic strategies, tools, and standard processes to optimize objectives and ensure on-time deliverables.
