Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field with analytics experience.
• At least 5 years of professional data analytics experience.
• Experience leading and developing with open source data technologies.
• Experience managing people (min 2 years).

Responsibilities

• Refining a new Enterprise-wide analytical tools validation framework.
• Planning and executing validation projects.
• Assessing the quality and risk of analytical tool methodologies across Capital One.
• Understanding technical issues in analytical tools and assessing risks and opportunities.
• Independently researching and prototyping industry best practices for analytical tools.
• Communicating results clearly through validation reports and presentations.
• Coaching and mentoring junior staff.
