Job summary

Capital One seeks a Senior Manager in Cyber Risk & Analysis to lead the ESRO controls governance function. You will oversee end-to-end controls lifecycle, partner with risk analytics, and drive governance, reporting, and board-ready materials.

In this role, you will manage a team, assess new controls for readiness, and work with multiple stakeholders to ensure data quality and risk controls alignment across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification.
• At least 5 years of experience in Risk Management, Process Management or Project Management.
• At least 5 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal and external business clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end controls lifecycle management and ensure adherence to Enterprise Control Standard.
• Oversee design assessment for new controls to ensure they are well-built and test-ready.
• Lead a team of risk professionals helping lines of business create and update controls.
• Assess impact of control changes on processes and reflect in the system of record.
• Build metrics around data quality and monitor control data completeness and accuracy.
• Partner with Risk Analytics to automate solutions for proactive risk management.
• Support content development for Internal Audit and regulatory inquiries.
• Drive project delivery, reporting, governance meetings, and Board materials.
