Base pay range

$108,000.00/yr - $216,000.00/yr

Position Summary

The Associate Creative Director will support Walmart Creative Studio in concept development and execution for marketing and brand campaigns across multiple channels including site, email, paid social, and display ads. The role involves overseeing art directors and designers, ensuring creative cohesion, and translating marketing strategies into compelling visual assets. The candidate should be a conceptual thinker, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, primarily focusing on Consumables categories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee design assets for projects across digital and paid social media, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Assist in concepting for site and paid campaigns.
  • Collaborate with marketing, site operations, and strategy teams to maintain creative cohesion.
  • Create and manage style guides based on marketing strategies.
  • Manage and develop art directors and designers.
  • Design assets and brand campaigns as needed.
Qualifications
  • BA in Graphic Design or relevant field; online portfolio required.
  • 10+ years of professional design experience in advertising, e-commerce, or production.
  • 4+ years of management experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Microsoft Office.
  • Skills in retouching, layout, responsive/adaptive design.
  • Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Figma.
  • Understanding of print processes and mechanicals.
  • Retail industry experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, or related field plus 3 years' experience in content management or 5 years' experience in the field.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in digital content management, retail, supervising teams, or working with creative agencies.
