Position Summary
Support the Global Trade Compliance Team to drive trade compliance excellence by ensuring adherence to applicable U.S. and non-U.S. laws and regulations related to international trade. Assist businesses in assessing and mitigating tariff requirements and other compliance risks. Ensure compliance with corporate policies and support the development of efficient, effective compliance procedures. Collaborate with functions such as Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain, Tax, and Finance to manage tariff and ESG requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Global GTC Team and Trade Compliance Leaders to steer strategic compliance processes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Handle complex issues with input from leadership as needed.
- Make risk decisions in partnership with business units for less complex/high-value issues.
- Support the use of the Global Trade Compliance Strategic Solution, OneSource, including training and reporting.
- Utilize CBP’s ACE and GTC Strategic Solution for classification, origin, and audit data management.
- Assist with duty drawback applications and management.
- Support internal assessments, audits, and follow-up actions to address audit themes proactively.
- Drive continuous improvement for tariff mitigation and operational excellence.
- Analyze trade environment changes and propose strategic compliance solutions.
- Supervise process improvements ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with trade compliance resources to address business impacts.
- Mitigate risks through proactive process management aligned with policies and laws.
- Enhance the knowledge and professionalism of import/export teams and leadership.
- Lead complex projects and initiatives to improve GTC functions.
- Apply critical thinking and judgment to resolve complex compliance issues, considering legislation.
Minimum Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation, Logistics, Business, or International Trade, or equivalent experience.
- 8-10 years of compliance management experience in a multinational, preferably in capital equipment industries.
- Knowledge of SAP, E1, QAD, Power BI is a plus.
- Experience supervising global import/export activities.
- Possession of a Customs Broker License or logistics experience is a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 20% globally.
