Position Summary

You are a fast, precise communications writer and operator who can help take a story from first draft to live – a press release on the wire, a disease awareness campaign across our channels, an all-company email in a leader's inbox. You know biotech news flow and the review gates every piece has to clear, and you know how to help make a rare disease visible to the people who need to recognize it, without crossing the promotional line. You're energized by the craft of execution – drafting, routing, scheduling, tracking – and you're eager to grow your scope as you learn the business.

Why This Role Matters

BridgeBio's newsflow has never been heavier. We are issuing roughly a press release a week – data readouts, congress curtain raisers, clinical and regulatory milestones, earnings, and financings – while preparing for three more commercial launches on top of Attruby. Across our portfolio, many of the conditions we work in are underdiagnosed or misdiagnosed, which makes disease awareness and education some of the most important work we do. Our audience is growing quickly, and more teams across the company are asking Communications for help telling their stories. This role adds the capacity we need to sustain that pace with quality.

What You'll Do
Press Releases & Corporate Newsflow
  • Partner closely with Director of Communications, providing regular updates on in-flight work, flagging emerging issues and opportunities, and contributing ideas to communications planning across the team.
  • Draft recurring corporate press releases – congress curtain raisers, clinical milestones (e.g., first patient dosed), corporate announcements, etc. – for review by the Director of U.S. Communications, and support regulatory, earnings, and financing releases as needed
  • Support releases through BridgeBio's press release review protocol: route drafts to reviewers, consolidate comments, track approvals against deadlines, and QC every detail
  • Support the path from draft to distribution across our owned channel ecosystem, including proof review, wire and Nasdaq timing, IR email alerts, website posting, and partner notifications, in coordination with Investor Relations and BD
  • Draft supporting materials for announcements, such as internal companywide emails, Board of Directors notes, partner notifications, and social copy
Disease Awareness & Education
  • Support planning, keeping up to date, and executing BridgeBio's annual disease awareness calendar – Rare Disease Day, condition-specific awareness days and months, and key advocacy moments
  • Draft unbranded disease education content – explainers, carousels, short-form video scripts, fact sheets, and patient and caregiver stories – that helps patients, families, and clinicians recognize conditions earlier, and help move it through Medical, Legal, and Regulatory review
  • Help elevate patient, caregiver, and advocacy voices with appropriate consent, amplify advocacy partners' campaigns, and support community events and conferences on social
  • Support disease education campaigns and partnerships with agencies and external partners (e.g., documentaries, education films, creator content), including coordinating paid amplification and tracking performance
  • Help bring awareness moments inside the company through internal communications, employee social toolkits, office screens, and Lunch & Learns
  • Maintain BridgeBio's library of approved disease fact sheets and awareness assets so they can be reused quickly and compliantly
Social Media & Company Channels
  • Support execution of BridgeBio’s social strategy by drafting and managing day-to-day organic content and, in partnership with our digital media team and media agency, paid content for our channels (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok)– announcements, congress recaps, awareness moments, On Rare podcast promotion, culture and recruitment content
  • Support the day-to-day social review workflow: Veeva/MLR submissions and material codes, Legal and affiliate review
  • Serve as a first point of contact for social requests from Medical Affairs, Patient Advocacy, and other teams.
  • Support updates to corporate website and Insights page content, and help coordinate social across BridgeBio and affiliate entities (e.g., GondolaBio, BBOT)
  • Work with our social agency on creative, community monitoring, and reporting; prepare the regular analytics readout with observations on what's working
Internal & Executive Communications
  • Draft all-company emails, leadership announcements, and organizational updates tied to corporate newsflow and company milestones, including emails sent under leaders' names
  • Draft executive LinkedIn posts and employee advocacy content (e.g., congress recaps, milestone reshares), and keep executive and spokesperson bios current
Corporate Reputation & Brand
  • Coordinate corporate, executive, and culture award submissions and speaking opportunity applications, and the amplification that follows (e.g., Prix Galien, Best Places to Work)
  • Help maintain corporate boilerplate, approved messaging, brand guidelines, and holding statements, and check for consistent use across channels
  • Help keep communications policies and how-to guides current (e.g., social media policy, review protocols), and field process questions from across the company
  • Monitor social conversation around announcements, congresses, and awareness moments and summarize what's resonating
Execution, Operations & Agency Coordination
  • Coordinate content and video production logistics and calendaring – podcast promotion, documentary and campaign assets, platform‑specific crops and copy
  • Coordinate across BridgeBio’s owned channels to connect communications and brand moments into a cohesive, integrated view, supporting channel-level execution and owning select channels over time
  • Track performance across company channels and campaigns and contribute data to the quarterly communications scorecard
  • Maintain communications infrastructure: distribution lists, link tracking, approved asset folders, and channel access
  • Leverage AI‑powered writing, monitoring, and analytics tools to improve speed and quality while maintaining accuracy and compliance

  • Truth Seekers, who are detailed, rational, and humble problem solvers
  • Individuals Who Inspire Excellence in themselves and those around them
  • High–quality executors, who execute against goals and milestones with quality, precision, and speed
Where You'll Work

Fulltime in office –based in our Palo Alto and San Francisco offices.

Who You Are
  • 5-7 years of communications experience in biotech, pharma, or healthcare, ideally including corporate communications at a public company – a combination of agency and in‑house experience is a plus
  • A strong, fast writer – you can turn around a clean first draft of a press release, social post, or all-company email the same day, and you welcome edits as a way to learn our voice
  • Familiar with biotech newsflow – you've supported data releases, curtain raisers, or milestone announcements and understand how embargoes, Reg FD, and wire timing work
  • Experience supporting disease awareness and education – you've helped execute unbranded campaigns, worked with patient advocacy groups, and can translate complex science into content patients and clinicians understand; rare disease experience is a plus
  • Compliance‑minded – you understand the promotional/non‑promotional and branded/unbranded lines and have worked through MLR/Veeva or similar review processes
  • Hands‑on with social and digital – you’ve managed corporate social channels, supported organic campaigns and partnered on paid, and are comfortable pulling and interpreting analytics
  • A collaborative cross‑functional partner who can keep many reviewers moving without formal authority – you earn trust through reliability and follow‑through
  • Exceptionally organized and detail‑oriented – you track dozens of moving pieces, chase approvals without dropping threads, and catch the error before it goes live
  • A true team player who takes pride in execution – you've uploaded a press release to Globe Newswire, filed with Nasdaq, or scheduled a social post, and you know that doing those things well is what makes the bigger work land
  • Curious and proactive – you take initiative, ask good questions, bring ideas forward, and want to grow your scope over time
  • Proficient with Sprout Social or similar, Veeva, website CMS platforms, PowerPoint, and AI‑powered communications tools
