Job summary

Amgen seeks a Senior Manager Corporate Audit to lead non-SOX financial/operational audits, guiding a team of managers and seniors. You’ll evaluate controls, governance, and processes across the company, and interact with senior leadership.

You will drive analytics, leverage big data, and ensure compliance with IIA standards while managing multiple projects with professional integrity and focus on critical business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field with strong audit background.
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and COSO framework, internal controls.
• Experience in external or internal audits, big data analytics.
• Ability to lead teams and interact with senior management.
• Industry experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotech is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee execution of annual audit plan (non-Sox) and audits.
• Provide leadership and mentoring for audit managers and seniors.
• Assess governance, process controls and documentation systems.
• Engage with senior management during engagements and reviews.
• Travel less than 10% for fieldwork and audits.
