Job summary

Amgen Inc. is seeking a Corporate Audit Manager to lead and support financial and operational process audits in the U.S., including anti-bribery, healthcare compliance, privacy, and third-party risks. Travel is minimal (less than 10%).

The role requires advanced analytics, strong communication with senior management, and adherence to professional auditing standards, within a dynamic biotech environment.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s with 2+ years of auditing, accounting, finance, compliance or data analytics.
• Bachelor’s with 4+ years of auditing, accounting, finance, compliance or data analytics.
• Associate’s with 8 years of auditing, accounting, finance, compliance or data analytics.
• High school diploma / GED with 10 years of auditing, accounting, finance, compliance or data analytics.
• Pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform the Annual Audit Plan as approved by the Audit Committee.
• Assist Senior Managers to provide independent assurance and consulting services.
• Evaluate whether Corporate Audit’s processes, controls and governance are adequate.
• Interact with Amgen’s senior and mid-level management during engagements.
• Support on special projects as needed.
• Adhere to IIA Code of Ethics and International Standards for Internal Auditing.
