Job summary

Jobs Finder is seeking a Senior Manager for corporate accounting to partner with senior leadership and oversee daily accounting operations. The role covers financial reporting, technical accounting, and internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance.

The candidate will supervise payroll, liaise with external auditors, and assist with budgeting and forecasting, staying current on accounting standards and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required.
• CPA certification is strongly preferred.
• Experience leading accounting teams and interfacing with senior management is expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
• Lead opening balance sheets and purchase price allocations for business combinations.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closings and journal entries.
• Develop accounting policies, internal controls, and risk management processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits and regulatory exams.
• Support budgeting/forecasting with FP&A and department heads.
