Harley-Davidson Motor Company in Milwaukee invites you to lead our Corporate Accounting & Fixed Assets team. You will oversee fixed asset accounting, depreciation, month-end close, internal controls, and U.S. GAAP compliance while partnering with operations, tax, procurement, and external audit.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in corporate accounting, 2+ years in a supervisory role, strong Excel and SAP experience (ECC/BPC), CPA preferred, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum 7+ years of progressive accounting experience including corporate accounting.
• 2+ years of supervisory/lead or managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop accounting staff for corporate accounting and fixed assets.
• Lead initiatives to improve accounting systems, automation, and reporting capabilities.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for corporate accounting areas.
• Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries, reconciliations, and support schedules.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
• Oversee fixed asset accounting including asset capitalization, transfers, retirements, and depreciation.
• Coordinate SOX controls and documentation related to corporate accounting and fixed assets.
• Support internal audit requests and recommendations.
