Job summary

Deloitte in London is seeking a Senior Manager specialising in Consumer data architecture, governance and management within its Engineering, AI & Data service offering.

You will lead engagements with Consumer clients, shaping enterprise data models for product and customer data, and governance operating models across the value chain. The role emphasizes conceptual design, stakeholder influence and measurable outcomes, with a focus on delivering value for clients.

Qualifications

• Senior data architecture, data governance or data management experience in Consumer businesses or consulting.
• Experience across both product and customer data domains supporting margins, brand, omnichannel.
• End-to-end product data lifecycle knowledge in CPG and Retail.
• Knowledge of product identifiers, GTIN, GS1 standards, barcodes and RFID.
• Proven ability to develop enterprise conceptual and logical data models; physical modelling not required.
• Experience leading client-facing teams and influencing senior stakeholders; strong consulting, communication, commercial skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagements with senior Consumer business and technology stakeholders to define enterprise data strategies.
• Shape enterprise models for product and customer data with defined entities and attributes.
• Assess product data usage across value chain including sourcing, merchandising, stores, ecommerce, marketing, loyalty.
• Design data governance and data management operating models with policies and data quality controls.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and translate data issues into clear business outcomes.
