Due to exceptional performance and market presence, Hamlyn Williams is looking for a sales-focused Senior Manager of Financial Compliance Recruitment in New York City.

The Role :

As our US business grows, we are looking for leaders to help scale our Financial Services Compliance recruitment team. You will be a key part of our journey, acting as both a recruitment team lead and a strategic leader for the larger Financial Service division. Our Compliance recruitment team is the highest performing desk within the organization and plays a vital role in cross-collaboration within our US Finance division.

We seek an experienced Manager with aspirations for leadership growth, team development, and market ownership as the division expands.

What you bring to the table :

  • Experience in the Financial Services recruiting space, ideally including compliance, FCC, Corporate Governance, etc.
  • Experience managing high-performing teams and leaders
  • Experience working a full-desk model (sales/account management & recruiting), managing multiple client relationships & accounts
  • A proven track record of developing your own business and billings within a niche, candidate-short vertical discipline
  • A desire to grow a function to a large scale while managing and developing recruitment consultants and future leaders
  • A positive attitude and an engaging, business-like approach

A snapshot of the role :

  • Target new clients and top-tier talent, acting as a consultant between candidates and clients, coaching both through the interview process
  • Offer recommendations and educate clients and candidates on current market conditions
  • Lead a team of specialized/full-desk FS recruiters, serving as a recruiting business partner and subject matter expert
  • Allocate sales and recruiting efforts to current open positions, proactive searches, and set KPIs
  • Collaborate with the Director of Financial Services to develop operations and strategy
  • Mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing recruiting team
  • Communicate effectively, providing timely feedback, setting expectations, and ensuring accountability
  • Assist in achieving weekly placement goals
