Job summary

Orion Advisor Solutions, Inc is seeking a Senior Manager, Compensation to lead our annual merit, market pricing, bonus, and sales compensation processes. This role reports to HR leadership and manages a small team, with three or more days on-site at a nearby office.

You will drive calibration, process improvements, and dashboards while partnering with HRBPs and Finance to ensure accurate, timely payouts and compliant practices. Strong analytical skills and HRIS experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in broad-based compensation programs.
• Experience owning and leading recurring compensation deliverables (merit, market pricing, bonus, sales compensation).
• Strong analytical and Excel skills with the ability to build audience-ready reports and presentations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable advising HRBPs and leaders.
• Experience with HRIS/compensation systems; automation/AI-enabled tools is a plus.
• Experience administering sales incentive or commission plans.
• Experience partnering with Finance on compensation-adjacent data and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of compensation partners.
• Own the annual merit increase cycle end to end and ensure calibration and readiness.
• Own the annual bonus/incentive payments cycle and coordinate with Payroll and Finance.
• Own annual market pricing and salary structure review using survey data.
• Own annual sales compensation plan process with Sales leadership and Finance.
• Maintain job evaluations, salary ranges, and compensation structures.
• Address day-to-day compensation questions from HRBPs and leaders.
• Build compensation dashboards and conduct pay equity and budget analyses.
• Communicate compensation recommendations to HRBPs, leaders, and teams.
• Streamline recurring processes and explore automation/AI tools.
