Job summary

Blue Star Families is seeking a remote, full-time Program Manager to expand our Outpost network across the United States. You will vet local partners, collaborate with BSF teams, and help shape high-impact programs for military and veteran families.

The role requires 4–7 years in program management and community outreach, budget awareness, and strong communications. Travel for staff offsites and events is expected a few times per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years in program management and community outreach.
• Experience monitoring budgets and reviewing contracts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the vetting and selection of local organizations to serve as Outpost partners.
• Support the execution and management of high-quality business strategies aligned with BSF objectives.
• Identify programs, services, and events to be carried out at Outpost locations.
• Train and onboard Outposts.
• Collaborate with BSF Research and Evaluation on national initiatives and program evaluation.
• Collaborate with Strategic Alliances and Government Relations to engage stakeholders.
