Cathay Bank is seeking a FVP, Manager of Community Development (Project Management) to lead and implement the Bank's CRA program, strengthening lending, investment, and service performance while maintaining relationships with community organizations.

The role requires overseeing CRA governance, data reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to meet regulatory requirements and drive community impact. Full-time position with competitive benefits in California.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Public Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7-10+ years in financial services, 3-5+ years in Compliance/CRA, and 3-5+ years in leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of CRA regulations and banking practices; excellent written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and administer the Bank's CRA Compliance Program to drive performance across Lending, Investment and Service.
• Oversee CRA Lending and Service programs; manage initiatives with the SVP, Director of Community Development.
• Maintain CRA governance through meetings, reports, and regulatory interactions.
• Develop CRA training and ensure timely data collection and reporting for regulatory deadlines.
