Résumé du poste

Alloy Health is seeking an operations leader to bring physical products from idea through to market. You will scope launches, build business cases, coordinate across clinical, fulfillment, and marketing teams, and own go-to-market plans while driving rapid, repeatable execution.

You will manage two to three initiatives simultaneously, ensuring proposals reach executive review and that launches land with measurable impact. This remote role offers a competitive package and equity opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 5 to 8 years in product commercialization, go-to-market, product operations, or related fields.
  • Experience bringing a physical product to market, including sourcing, fulfillment, and the operational path behind it.
  • Strong understanding of business modeling: unit economics, pricing scenarios, margin, and ongoing cost of operational complexity.
  • Experience coordinating across functions you do not control.
  • Track record of building documents and models that executives actually use to decide.
  • Preferred: direct-to-consumer, subscription, consumer health, or regulated consumer product experience.
  • Preferred: experience with pharmacy, third-party logistics, or contract manufacturing partners.

Responsabilités

  • Take a raw idea and shape it into a launch-ready product, defining scope, beneficiaries, and out-of-scope items.
  • Define the path from idea to launch with clear milestones and truth checks.
  • Coordinate across clinical, pharmacy, fulfillment, operations, marketing, legal, analytics, and engineering.
  • Identify partners or vendors and lead time to stand them up.
  • Develop the business case with the right inputs and refine as plans evolve.
  • Quantify ongoing costs of complexity including staffing, support, and maintenance.
  • Own the launch plan: sequencing, owners, dates, and go-to-market decisions.
  • Escalate when trade-offs are needed and ensure stability after launch.
  • Document assumptions and run 90-day post-launch reviews to measure results.
  • Surface blockers early to enable timely adjustment and iteration.

Description du poste

Alloy sells more than care. Alongside the clinical platform, we ship physical products to our customers, including prescription fulfillment, supplements, topicals, and devices.Every one of them has to beshown to make sense, priced and sourced, built into the operational flow, and delivered to the people who will run it.

This role owns that work. You take a product or project from idea to launch: scope the path from where it is today to where it needs to be, work through the numbers and the operational plan with the teams that own each piece, and bring a recommendation to the executive team. Then you run the launch across every function, including vendors, fulfillment, clinical workflows, and support, until it’s stable and handed off. You’ll typically carry two or three initiatives at once. The process is meant to be repeatable, and each launch should make the next one faster.

This is an operations role, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. It isn’t digital product management: you won’t own a software roadmap or run a sprint team. And it isn’t marketing: positioning and campaigns sit with the marketing team. The question you answer is whether, and how, an idea can be brought to market, what it will cost, and what has to be true before it ships. Then you make sure it does.

Today this work sits with our executive team. Moving it into a dedicated role means leadership reviews developed proposals and makes faster calls, and it means your work lands directly in front of the people deciding.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Scoping and Feasibility
  • Take a raw idea, whether a new product, business model, or operations platform, and shape it into the strongest version of itself: what it is, who it’s for, and what’s out of scope.
  • Define the path from where an idea sits today to a launch-ready state, including what has to be true at each step.
  • Work across clinical, pharmacy and fulfillment, operations, marketing, legal, analytics, and engineering to confirm each function can carry its part.
  • Identify where a new partner or vendor is required, and what the real lead time is to stand one up.
The Business Case
  • Work cross-functionally where necessary to land on the right combination of key inputs and keep refining it as the plan takes shape.
  • Answer how the product aligns with the overarching business strategy. Where it does not, say so plainly, and where changes would improve this alignment.
  • Quantify the ongoing cost of the complexity a launch adds, including staffing, support, and maintenance.
Go-to-Market & Launch Planning
  • Own the launch plan: sequence, dependencies, owners, and dates.
  • Build agreement on how the product goes to market, what trade-offs are made, and why. Escalate when agreement isn’t possible.
  • When scope, cost, or timing shifts, make the small trade-offs directly and bring a recommendation on the big ones.
  • Stay with the launch until it’s stable, then hand it to the business owner against agreed criteria.
  • Surface blockers early, while there is still room to change the plan rather than just absorb the delay.
Recommendation and Decision
  • When needed, bring initiatives to the executive team with a clear recommendation, in whatever form the decision needs: a memo, a one-page recommendation, or a short deck.
  • Open with what you recommend and how confident you are, then walk through the reasoning behind it.
  • Communicate findings so leadership can prioritize across projects, not only within one.
Learning and Improvement
  • Document the assumptions and the diligence behind every launch, so a decision made in March can still be understood in September.
  • Lead a 90-day review after each launch, comparing results to the business case and looking at how the work ran.
  • Find where the go-to-market process is slow or broken and work with the teams involved to fix it. Where it isn’t getting fixed, raise it with leadership, with evidence of what it’s costing.
  • Feed what we learn from one launch into the plan for the next.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

By the end of your first six months, we would expect to see:

  • The executive team reviewing proposals rather than assembling them.
  • A repeatable scoping format in use across projects, so no launch starts from a blank page.
  • A documented assumption set behind every launch that went out.
  • A shorter and more predictable path from idea to a go or no-go decision.
  • Leadership able to see candidate launches side by side and prioritize between them.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • You go and get the answer. Much of this job is working out who knows, and getting it from them.
  • You hold strategy and arithmetic in the same head and are not intimidated by either.
  • Your writing makes decisions easier for others: short, clear, and honest about what you do not yet know.
  • You bring a recommendation with a confidence level attached, not a menu of options.
  • You are comfortable working from partial information, and clear about which parts are solid and which are estimates.
  • You care about who’s on the other end. A launch isn’t done when it ships; it’s done when it works for the member or the team that depends on it.
Skills & Experience
  • 5 to 8 years in product commercialization, go-to-market, product operations, business operations, strategy, or new product development, with hands-on ownership of launches.
  • Experience bringing a physical product to market, including sourcing or manufacturing, fulfillment, and the operational path behind it.
  • Strong understanding of business modeling: unit economics, pricing scenarios, margin, and the ongoing cost of operational complexity.
  • Experience bringing engineering and operations together to scope what’s needed, knowing enough to challenge an estimate and spot a gap, without needing to be the engineer yourself.
  • A track record of building documents and models that executives actually use to decide.
  • Experience coordinating across functions you do not control.
Preferred
  • Direct-to-consumer, subscription, consumer health, supplements, or another regulated consumer product category.
  • Experience working with pharmacy, third-party logistics, or contract manufacturing partners.
  • Experience where clinical, regulatory, or compliance review is part of the launch path.
  • Experience standing up a repeatable launch or stage-gate process where none existed.
