Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with strong systems and networking background.
• Experience with distributed systems, Linux, and cloud-native platforms (Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or Go.
• Knowledge of DOCSIS or broadband access technologies preferred.
• Leadership experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex, large-scale systems.
• Strong decision-making and execution in cross-functional environments.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on technical involvement.
• Experience with vCMTS or CMTS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute vCMTS software strategy aligned with business and access network roadmap.
• Own end-to-end delivery of software releases, including planning, execution, and lifecycle management.
• Establish and track KPIs for delivery, system performance, and reliability.
• Ensure scalability, quality, and operational readiness of production systems.
• Actively contribute to system architecture, design decisions, and performance optimization.
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex production issues across distributed systems.
• Conduct design and code reviews for critical components and integration points.
• Guide engineering teams on best practices in distributed systems, networking, and cloud-native development.
• Guide integration of data-driven and ML-based approaches into system design and operational decision-making.
