Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, CS, life sciences or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years of experience with clinical database design, data loading, and database modelling concepts; or 9+ in a similar environment.
• Intermediate SAS and/or SQL programming; expert database concepts knowledge.
• CDASH and SDTM standards knowledge; understanding of clinical trial processes.
• Ability to influence without authority; strong communication and analytical skills; mentoring in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple therapeutic areas and data initiatives.
• Oversee technology evaluations and implementations for performance and cost improvements.
• Create and sustain an environment that attracts and develops talent.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes and technology usage.
• Act as SME and process owner for data operations.
• Supervise resources within the Therapeutic Area and allocate work.
• Ensure performance assessment, coaching, and retention for staff.
• Manage cross-functional initiatives and vendor deliverables.
