AbbVie in Florham Park, NJ is seeking a Senior Manager, Clinical Data Systems to lead data management initiatives within the Clinical Data Management/Data Science organization. The role focuses on overseeing database design, data loading, and SDTM/CDASH standards, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality data for clinical programs.

You will mentor staff, manage cross-functional collaborations, evaluate technology options, and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, CS, life sciences or equivalent.
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced leadership roles.
• 8+ years of experience in clinical database design, data loading, and database modeling.
• SAS and/or SQL programming skills with strong data management knowledge.
• Deep understanding of CDASH/SDTM standards and clinical trial processes.

• Create and sustain an environment that attracts, develops and retains top talent.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes and technology usage.
