Job summary

IAT Insurance Group has an opening for a Senior Manager, Claims Services (Large Loss/Major Case Property) across listed US locations, with a hybrid work model requiring in-office Mon-Wed and optional remote Thurs-Fri. Fully remote arrangements are possible for the ideal candidate.

You will oversee the Large Loss/Major Case Property teams, mentor staff, ensure proper investigation/settlement/reserve handling, and maintain critical stakeholder relationships while traveling up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years Property claims experience or equivalent
• 3+ years of Management/Leadership experience
• Must hold or obtain applicable Insurance License within 3 months
• Strong communication and MS Office skills
• Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship required

Responsibilities

• Oversee Large Loss/Major Case Property claims teams for efficiency
• Provide training, mentoring, coaching and guidance to staff
• Manage investigations, settlements and reserves; ensure coverage matters
• Build relationships with key stakeholders
• Collaborate with AVP of Property; travel as needed (<25%)
• Perform other duties as needed

IAT Insurance Group has an immediate opening for a Senior Manager, Claims Services (Large Loss/Major Case Claims- Property) from one of our office locations listed below:

• Scottsdale, Arizona
• Cheshire, Connecticut
• Sarasota, Florida
• Alpharetta, Geogia
• Naperville, Illinois
• Raleigh, North Carolina
• Norristown, Pennsylvania
• Plano, Texas
• Viriginia Beach, Virginia

This role works a hybrid schedule that requires working from the office Monday through Wednesday, with the option of working Thursday and Friday remotely.

While we prefer candidates to work from one of our listed IAT office locations, we’re open to considering fully remote arrangements for the ideal candidate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the Large Loss/Major Case Property claims teams to ensure operational efficiency.
• Provide ongoing training, mentoring, coaching and guidance to staff.
• Ensure that any investigation/settlement/reserve/coverage matters are appropriately managed.
• Establish and maintain critical relationships with key stakeholders.
• Work with the AVP of Property on various matters as needed.
• Travel as required for business purposes, less than 25%.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

• Bachelors’ degree with 8+ years relevant Commercial/Homeowners Property claims experience or equivalent
• Equivalent is defined as 9 years of related experience, including the 8 years of Property claims experience mentioned above
• 3+ years of Management/Leadership experience
• Must currently hold or be able to obtain, within 3 months, applicable Insurance License(s).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate internally and externally.
• Excellent Microsoft office skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Advanced knowledge of insurance industry.
• To qualify, applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require VISA sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment purposes.

Preferred To Have

• Exceptional technical skills with regards to estimating, coverage, and dispute resolution.
• Field Large Loss Property management experience.

Compensation

Please note, that the annual gross salary range associated with this posting is $82,960 – $180,450. Actual salaries will vary based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and geographical location related to this specific role. The total compensation will include a base salary, performance-based bonus opportunities, 401(K) match, profit-sharing opportunities, and more.
